Draft RFP posted for BMO Services government-wide strategic sourcing solution

A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the new Building Maintenance and Operations (BMO) contract vehicle is now available for viewing and comment on FedBizOpps. This draft RFP includes requirements for future suppliers and contractors, including:

  • Anticipated terms and conditions

  • Evaluation factors and their relative importance

  • Performance-Based Statement of Work (PBSOW)

Responses to this draft RFP will be accepted through April 17. Comments posted here (using an Interact profile) and those sent to the Contracting Officer (fssi.bmo@gsa.gov) will be included in the development of the final RFP -- scheduled to be released in early May.

GSA’s BMO initiative will improve the way the federal government sources and manages building maintenance and operations services, including operations maintenance (HVAC, elevators, plumbing, electrical and building management) and facility support services (janitorial, waste management, janitorial, pest control, etc.).
