Today, the IAE is pleased to announce that the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) reports module has successfully migrated to beta.SAM.gov. From now on, beta.SAM.gov is the only place to create and run static, standard, administrative, and ad hoc contract data reports.

Experienced reports users will see that the core capabilities of static, standard, and administrative reports in beta.SAM.gov has not changed. However, the tool used to create ad hoc reports is different. You should get to know the tool before you try to use it. We have a library of training resources on the Contract Data page in addition to the resources we have shared in prior blogs. For ad hoc reports users, we also have a video series dedicated to using ad hoc reporting tools in beta.SAM.gov, starting with this first video.

For users who created and ran ad hoc reports in FPDS.gov before January 31, 2020, we converted these FPDS ad hoc reports and made them available in beta.SAM.gov. You can access converted reports in your beta.SAM.gov account. Note that the email address used on FPDS.gov must be the same address used for your beta.SAM.gov account in order to access the converted ad hoc reports. If you created ad hoc reports in FPDS after January 31, 2020, those reports have not been converted and will have to be recreated in beta.SAM.gov.

The process of building beta.SAM.gov is a collaborative effort among the IAE team, our users, and our stakeholders. The development and deployment of beta.SAM.gov are managed under an agile framework, which enables our team to continually develop and update software to suit users' evolving needs. As with all transitions, past and future, the process is iterative; what we transition on day one is not the end. We continue to improve, refine, and add capabilities to each functional area and we continue to make beta.SAM.gov more user friendly and less burdensome.

Removed Contract Data from the search and saved search services FPDS.gov remains the authoritative source of contract award data entry, search, and display. To help ensure users find and use authoritative data correctly, users will no longer be able to select “contract data” from the domain searches, and the “all awards” search will not return any contract data results. Saved searches that only have the contract data domain are being removed until new and more complete search functionality is released. Saved searches that had “all awards” selected will continue to run with no changes required by the user, and will automatically remove contract data from the results.
Are DOD contracts/task orders not listed anymore. I usually report on hundreds of task orders a year and now i am only showing a few task order listed that are not DOD. When reaching out to KO , they state its all in there from the FPDS... I am not showing anything?
