BMO Proposed Change to RFP: Minimum Task Order Awards and Values

Industry Partners,

The Building Maintenance and Operations (BMO) strategic solution is proposing the following minimum task order and sales requirements for vendors wishing to continue beyond the base contract period. Note: a vendor is only required to meet either the task order requirement or the sales requirement, not both. The exact language in the RFP may differ.

Small Business Set-Aside Solicitation -

During the initial five-year period of its contract, for the Contracting Officer to consider exercising its option, an awarded vendor must achieve EITHER:

  • 3 Task Orders

OR

  • $325,000 in Sales

Unrestricted Solicitation -

During the initial five-year period of its contract, for the Contracting Officer to consider exercising its option, an awarded vendor must achieve EITHER:

  • 5 Task Orders

OR

  • $1,250,000 in Sales

Feedback-

We are looking for your feedback on these proposed requirements. As you review them, please consider the following, along with any recommendations you may have:

- Are these task order requirements achievable?

- Are these sales requirements achievable?

- Do these separate task order and sales requirements seem comparable?

Please submit your questions, comments, suggestions or other feedback here (on Interact) or to our BMO email (fssi.bmo@gsa.gov).
