April 6, 2017: FCL-GSA-0048 Buying Services Through GSA Schedules

This course is designed for ordering agencies that require GSA Schedule services. The GSA Schedules program offers a vast array of services and products, and offers a streamlined way to acquire these services. This course provides ordering activities with valuable information about the services available through GSA Schedules, how to find them, and the procedures and requirements that apply when ordering these cost-effective service solutions. This is a four (4) CLP credit course.

 

April 13, 2017: FCL-GSA-0038 How to Integrate Green into Acquisition

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Federal agencies are required by statute and executive order to purchase certain products with specific environmental or energy attributes. “Green purchasing” or “sustainable acquisition” refers to purchasing products with these attributes, and purchasing services under which these products will be supplied or used. In this course, we will examine additional options for minimizing the environmental impact of your acquisitions beyond requiring the use or supply of green products. It is possible to incorporate environmental considerations into any acquisition, regardless of size, scope, type, or complexity. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.

 

April 20, 2017: FCL-GSA-0041 GSA Alliant and Alliant Small Business GWACs

Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) enable federal agencies to buy cost-effective, innovative solutions for information technology (IT)requirements. Most, if not all, government agencies have a need to buy IT services and solutions. GSA has made this convenient through its GWAC Programs. In this course, you will learn about the Alliant & Alliant Small Business GWAC Program offered through GSA. This is a two (2) CLP credit course.

 

April 24, 2017: FCL-GSA-0140 Category Mgmt and the Acquisition Gateway

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time

This course presents an overview of category management and the Acquisition Gateway. The Acquisition Gateway helps federal government buyers from all agencies act as one acquisition community. Inside the Acquisition Gateway, you can find governmentwide solution comparisons, connect with other acquisition professionals, and explore product and service category hallways. Learn how to access expert articles, templates, market research tools, prices paid data, and more to achieve successful outcomes at each step of the acquisition lifecycle.
