About the SBA’s Office of Veterans Business Development

As we approach Veteran’s Day, note that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) headquarters in Washington, DC also includes an Office of Veterans Business Development (OVBD). Their mission is to maximize the availability, applicability and usability of small business programs for Veterans, Service-Disabled Veterans, Reserve Component Members, and their dependents or survivors.

The OVBD offers training, counseling and mentorship, and oversight of Federal procurement programs for Veteran-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.  They are SBA’s liaison with the veterans business community, and have a number of programs and services to assist aspiring and existing veteran entrepreneurs.  Please visit that website to reviewing a multitude of partners and program Resources. Thank you for your service!

Can the GSA Office of Small Business Utilization (OSBU) help in any way? If you have any questions for the General Services Administration, please feel free to submit them via our  OSBU Contact Form.
